Etched Brown Eggs - Vines and Flowers |

These brown eggs have been chemically etched twice to give you this beautiful design. First, the darker parts of the design were covered with wax, and then the egg was dipped for a short time into a chemical that ate away at the exposed shell producing a lighter colored shell. Next, the lighter parts were covered, and the egg was dipped into the etching solution again. This time the egg was left in long enough to create a white background. Finally, the wax was removed leaving an elegant and beautiful design for you to enjoy. No two eggs are exactly alike. The images you see above are a sampling of what to expect.
